Pflugerville Pfighting Panther Band
Over the years, the directors and students have worked diligently towards a common goal. Excellence. They have received superior ratings from UIL competitions during both fall and spring seasons. They spend countless hours learning new music, marching, and choreography. They form strong bonds with each other as they grow as one pfamily.
The Pflugerville High School Band & Color Guard has a long tradition of pride and excellence in performance. Students of the Panther Band have traveled many miles, serving as goodwill ambassadors of Pflugerville in events such as The Orange Bowl Parade, Rose Bowl Parade, Fiesta Bowl Parade, and elite stage performances at the Music for All National concert Band and Percussion Festival with performances for past Presidents and a performance at Carnegie Hall.
Students of the Panther Band and Color Guard receive vigorous training in visual and music performing arts. The Panther Band is a consistent UIL sweepstakes winner and has earned numerous appearances at area and state level competitions. Students of Panther Band have received numerous individual awards, such as the Texas State Solo and Ensemble Outstanding Soloist Award. Others have earned chairs in Texas' All-State Student Performing Groups.
Members of the Panther Band have served in various leadership positions within organizations such as NHS and student council. Several have distinguished themselves as valedictorians and salutatorians of the respective classes, with many being in the top 10% of their graduating class.

High academic standards are an essential part of the band program and all students are expected to maintain passing grades to remain eligible for performance.
Graduating Seniors of the band program have received numerous scholarship offers for academic and musical excellence. 2022 Seniors collectively earned over $1,621,500 in scholarships to various institutions throughout the US.

The Panther Band Foundation has awarded over $10,000 in scholarships each year for academic and musical achievement.
